The Municipality of Lomas de Zamora and the Buenos Aires Province government have completed a road intervention on Route 4 (Camino de Cintura) in Llavallol. The works were aimed at improving vehicle flow on a key stretch of the AMBA's second ring road.
According to the Argentine News Agency, the repaving covered a 1,300-meter section between Magallanes and Avenida Seguí. Additionally, work was carried out on another section of the corridor, from the area of the National University of Lomas de Zamora to the Firestone factory.
The project included widening and reinforcing the roadway to improve its strength and capacity for circulation, along with the construction of one-way collectors on both sides of the road. This seeks to reduce congestion points and improve road safety.
The project also included a hydraulic drainage system, bus stop platforms, new street lighting, vehicle guardrails, and horizontal and vertical signage.
